University of Idaho students are working to enhance traditional safety training with VR simulations through funding from the NWC PTOP program.
Ground was broken on Mongolia's first highway construction project in May 2016. There are currently no highways in Mongolia, but the country plans to complete 60 kilometers of new highway in the coming year. 22 Professionals from Mongolia visited the NWCOHS to learn about Road Construction safety as projects continue to grow.

September 27, 2016 | PACE is the first pre-apprenticeship program nationally to be sponsored by a building and construction trades council. The program provides trades-related job skills toward a construction industry apprentice, which is an on-the-job training for novices under an experienced practitioner.
