The Cascadia 2018 conference (formerly Semiahmoo) brought together researchers and students from UW DEOHS, the University of British Columbia, Oregon State University, Oregon Health Sciences University, Simon Fraser University, and U Regina to share current research related to Environmental, Occupational, and Population Health, with a focus on what these fields of study mean for mental health.

Governor Insley, Melinda Gates, and other global health leaders from the Pacific Northwest will be in attendance at the exclusive event.
November 17, 2016 | The Northwest Center was pleased to support the 2016 Northwest Occupational Health Conference (NOHC), which was held October 19-21 in Portland Oregon. This annual conference is organized and hosted by the Pacific Northwest Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (PNS-AIHA). More than 200 participants attended the conference.
August 12, 2016 | Marissa Baker, NWC ERC M.S. program graduate and current DEOHS PhD candidate, was recently named the 2016 winner of the IPA/DGUV Award for Young Exposure Scientists from ISES - International Society of Exposure Sciences.
